Man... I'm really screwed! Since Digital Painting class is on Mon, no class on Fri, and I often do my HW over the weekends, Cherlyn and me came up with a system where we take turns to either borrow or renew my rented Wacom tablet on Mondays and Thursdays while Cher can help renew on Fridays since she got singing elective. The tablet has since never left my hand and the IT dep people became very familiar with our routine. They often warn me with unfortunate stories of people getting fined just when a sec has passed the due time due to a mouse click or someone dropping the pen into the elevator gap.
You know what... I broke the record of records according to the guy at the IT dep. I forgot to remind Cher and Cher herself forgot the Thursday renewal. Plus 2 weekend... thats not all... PLUS 2 CNY hols whereby the IT dep will be closed, I can only return on Wed and by then I'm late for 4 days*$20 per day=Tada! A $100 fine!
I tried to plead leniency to the head of the IT dep and turns out only the Chairman can decide to lessen the amt or not.... Hai.... Very pai seh.... The guy at the IT dep already warned me of the danger especially during CNY period and I confidently told him:" Ok one! Dun worry!"
Urgh!!!! Hope it turns out ok....
(P.S My parents DON't know about this!!!!)
